Safe and effective for dogs over 3.6kg (8lb) but we do not recommend this sytem for small dogs.
The system works by producing a radio signal from the Fence Transmitter through up to 854m (2800ft) of Boundary Wire. The Boundary Wire is buried or attached to a fixed object to enclose the Pet Area. You temporarily define this Pet Area with Boundary Flags for a visual training aid in training your pet. Your Pet wears a Receiver Collar with Contact Points that touch his neck, and , once trained is allowed to run freely in the Pet Area. You select the type of correction you dog receives; tone-only, vibration, or simultaneously tone-and-static correction. When your pet reaches the Warning Zone, the Receiver Collar gives a warning beep. If your pet continues into the Static Correction Zone or lingers in the Warning Zone, a safe correction will be delivered, based on the mode setting, until your pet returns to the Pet Area or up to 20 seconds.
