This is a 12v 110 amp/hr re-chargeable and fully sealed maintenance free AGM Battery. It can be used with any 12v Battery Energiser in our range.

We always recommend the use of leisure and deep cycle batteries with electric fencing as, unlike car batteries, they are designed to be repeatedly discharged and then re-charged. This battery should have a life of 200 cycles and can last up to 5-7 years if treated correctly.

Although a charge will give you up to 5 - 6 weeks of life (depending on the consumption/power of the energiser you are running) we do recommend that they are recharged every 2 to 3 weeks or so to keep the battery in best condition. This battery has a depth of discharge of 70% and we have found that if allowed to discharge fully it can damage the plates and it will be very hard to get it to take a full charge properly again.
