We are asked a lot ... what is the difference between PIG19-17478 and PIG19-15394... And here are the answers...

The PIG19-17478 works on a different frequency than the PIG19-15394 and thus they are not compatible (can’t use one collar with the other system and vice versa).
The PIG19-17478 is indeed compatible with the Pawz Away Mini Pet Barrier product, meaning the collar will activate when in close range of the barrier.
The PIG19-17478 has a rechargeable collar where it has 8 steps/increments to get to the highest static stimulation level (so it has 1 level that is tone only, and then 7 levels of static stimulation) instead of the usual 5 levels that the PIG19-15394’s collar has.
The PIG19-17478’s collar also vibrates when it activates, the PIG19-15394 collar doesn’t.
The PIG19-17478’s transmitter has a display, rather than the traditional boundary width dial design that the other transmitters have.
The PIG19-17478’s transmitter max wire capacity is less. You can work with an advised max of 570m wire, whereas the PIG19-15394 can work with a max wire length of 1300m
An important detail, regarding robot lawnmower interference, by switching them to the PIG19-17478. Due to the different frequency it works on, it appears to be way less vulnerable to interference and works together with robot lawnmower installations. Whether this is always the case we do not know yet though.
And a similarity ... both systems are for dogs.
